Tonight I had the privilege of watching the Bob Little trophy Fixture Between Colne and Langho Reserves.
In the first half, an early goal from a corner gave Langho the advantage. But by no means was it all one way. A fabulous performance from the Colne keeper kept the score down with some fantastic saves early on.
Relentless pressure continued to be applied by Colne as they looked for their equaliser and a goal-line clearance and a shot hitting the post were amongst the many second-half chances Colne had but in the end, they couldn't find the back of the net.
A superb, end to end, evenly contested game played in good spirits.
Well done Langho Reserves and unlucky Colne you did yourselves proud.
Thanks also to Bill and the Team at Mill Hill for their hospitality.
