“Peel Park FC was formed in 1995 from the previous Park Inn FC who had played in the Accrington and District football league since the late 1980s.
Peel Park has played in the East Lancs Football league since 1995 mainly in the lower division but it has been in the top division for a couple of spells, most recently 20/21 and 21/22 seasons. We won the 2nd division cup once. We play on the famous ex-Accrington Stanley pitch that they vacated when they went bust in 1962. We recently returned to playing at Peel Park ground in the 23/24 season after a 6-year absence while the facility was deemed unfit for purpose and up to our club recently renovated it. We now have a 10-year lease with LCC and the Peel Park primary school. From Season 24/25 we have expanded and taken on a u18 side who play in the Accrington & District Junior Football league.”
