Cup Final Bonanza

In a repeat of last year's cup finals, we again had a doubleheader at Padiham FC.

In the Early Kickoff, Langho Reserves took an early lead but then a second-half onslaught by Mill Hill Reserves gave them the Result in a 4-1 Victory.

In the second game of the day a tough, hard-fought end-to-end game ended with a fair 1-1 scoreline. The final then went to penalties to decide the outcome. In the end, Rimington were triumphant, preventing a clean sweep of trophies going to Mill Hill when Rimington won the shootout 4-3.

The weather came out and the fans all let us know they were there with their brilliant support and a fab day was had by all even in defeat.
