League and Cup Double for Trawden
On Saturday 18th May day 2 of our cup finals took place in a sun drenched Padiham and the Early kick off saw a valiant Whinney Hill race to an early 2 goal lead but they couldnt hold on and Trawden Celtic Juniors never let their heads fall and scored 2 goals to take it into the cruel penalty decider.
Gracious in defeat a strong Whinney Hill Team saw
Trawden win through in the Penalty shoot out 4-2. to make it a league and cup double!!!!
A fabulous, friendly first game of the day.
